Arrival at Cochin airport/Ernakulam station and drive to Kumarakom, checkin to a Hotel. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and this small water world is part of the Kuttanad region. Visit the bird sanctuary in the evening. Boating and fishing facilities are available at Kumarakom. Overnight stay at resort.
Check in to Deluxe houseboat ( checkin time is 12.00 noon) for an overnight cruise through the unique back waters of Kerala. Houseboat will be your transportation for the day and accommodation for the night. Glide along the narrow canals laced by the infinite greenery imparted by coconut palms, watch the gentle and soothing greenery of paddy fields and the village folk at work.
All 3 meals provided in the boat( 1 lunch, evening tea, 1 dinner and next day breakfast).
The cruise will start from Kumarakom and ends in Alappuzha. The A/c will work only in the bedroom ( 9.00 pm to 6.00 am)
Enjoy the hearty morning breakfast at houseboat.
Later we transfer you to Cochin – airport/ Railway station to proceed for your onward journey or way back home.
